THE ACADEMY GAME – OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
Organized by: CINENIC (hereinafter referred to as “Organizer”) Website: www.aofa.in
Note : THERE IS ONLY ONE CASH PRIZE ( 1 LAC ) FOR ONE FINAL WINNER.
1. ELIGIBILITY
The contest is open only to residents of India aged 18 years and above.
Participants must have a valid email address and active social media account(s) (Instagram, Facebook, or X/Twitter).
Employees, partners, contractors, and family members of the Organizer, its affiliates, and promotional agencies are not eligible to participate.
Participation constitutes the participant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Rules and the Organizer’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the contest.
2. CONTEST STRUCTURE
The Academy Game consists of two steps
STEP ONE – TRAILER QUIZ
Participants must:
Watch the official trailer of the film The Academy on the Organizer’s website or official YouTube channel.
Answer five (5) questions based on the trailer.
If a participant answers at least three (3) questions correctly, they win an exclusive Buy-One-Get-One (BOGO) coupon redeemable on tickets for The Academy (subject to availability and partner theatre terms).
STEP TWO – FILM QUIZ
Note : THERE IS ONLY ONE CASH PRIZE ( 1 LAC ) FOR ONE FINAL WINNER
Participants must:
Watch the full film The Academy of fine arts
Log in to their account on aofa.in.
Answer ten (10) questions based on the film.
Upload the link to their personal review post (video or written) on any public social media platform.
Participants who answer all ten (10) questions correctly will be eligible to win a cash prize of ₹1,00,000 (One Lakh Rupees), subject to verification and compliance with these Rules.
1 LAC CONTEST WILL BE LIVE FROM 14 NOV 2025 12.00 PM FOR ONE WEEK.
IN CASE OF MULTIPLE QUALIFYING ENTRY IN CLOSE PROXIMITY OF TIME , PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO THE FIRST 10 PERSON WITH ALL CORRECT ANSWERS AND THEY WILL BE CALLED TO PLAY STEP 3.
PROCESS OF STEP 3 OF THE GAME WILL BE COMMENCED IN PHYSICAL VENUE. ALL DETAILS WILL BE NOTIFIED VIA EMAIL OR CALL IN CASE OF STEP 3 GAME.
3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Visit https://www.aofa.in and follow the game instructions.
Each participant may enter only once per registered email ID and device.
By submitting details, participants confirm that all information provided is true and accurate to the best of their knowledge.
4. SELECTION AND VERIFICATION OF WINNERS
Trailer Quiz Winners: Automatically determined by the online system based on the number of correct answers.
Film Quiz Winners:
Participants must correctly answer all 10 questions.
The Organizer reserves the right to verify entries, including checking the authenticity of social media review links and IP logs.

5. PRIZE DISTRIBUTION
BOGO Coupons:
Coupons are non-transferable, non-redeemable for cash, and valid only at participating theatres or platforms as specified.
Terms of the partner cinema/theatre/platform will apply.
Cash Prize:
The ₹1,00,000 prize will be paid via bank transfer within 30 working days after winner verification.
The winner must provide valid ID proof, PAN card, and bank details and The Academy of Fine Arts movie ticket proof.
All taxes, TDS, or government levies on the prize will be borne by the winner as per Indian law.
6. DISQUALIFICATION
The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify participants who:
Submit false, misleading, or plagiarized entries or if anyone related to Employees, partners, contractors, and family members of the Organizer, its affiliates, and promotional agencies submit entries, Engage in automated or bulk participation; Attempt to tamper with the website, quiz, or selection process; Violate any terms herein.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All film content, trailers, images, and quiz materials are the exclusive intellectual property of the Organizer.
Participants are not permitted to copy, distribute, or reuse any material from The Academy or aofa.in without prior written permission.
8. DATA PRIVACY
Personal data collected during participation (name, email, social media handles, etc.) will be used solely for administering this contest and awarding prizes.
By participating, users consent to the Organizer storing and processing their information in accordance with applicable data protection laws in India.
The Organizer will not sell or share participant data with third parties for marketing purposes.
9. PUBLICITY CONSENT
By entering the contest, participants agree that their names, photos, and social media posts may be used by the Organizer for promotional or marketing purposes, without additional compensation, in perpetuity.
10. LIABILITY
The Organizer shall not be responsible for any technical errors, network failures, server issues, or other malfunctions that affect participation.
The Organizer assumes no liability for loss, damage, or injury resulting from participation or acceptance/use of prizes.
The Organizer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the game.
11. MODIFICATION AND INTERPRETATION
The Organizer reserves the right to amend or interpret these Rules at its sole discretion, including changing the duration, prize structure, or eligibility criteria without prior notice.
12. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
This contest shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes arising out of or in connection with this contest shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
